Service Description
To meet the needs of the student, we have developed an introductory course to the model drawing program. If you wish to follow this year long program we strongly recommend that you start with these basic classes. Questions that we normally don’t have time for will be answered here. During this course we will teach you how to arrange your workspace, what materials to choose and how to use them, what the classical drawing method is all about, how to prepare yourself for the lessons, and how to organize your homework assignments. This course will be given by Frank de Vreeze. He has been a student from Ilse and attended several drawing programs with great enthusiasm and love for drawing. His immense focus, open mindedness and willingness to learn made him one of the best students so far. From September 2024 he has been assisting Ilse during her lessons, something that he will continue doing this academic year. Also, he will be teaching the introductory course for portrait number three. A note from Frank: How special! In September I can provide a number of introductory lessons, the basics: how to handle your materials, what can you do in preparation for the lesson, what are measuring methods, etc. I will help you get started so that you can start the courses well prepared after the introductory lessons. After that, you will see me every week as Ilse's assistant, a combination that proved to be succesfull since we started this in September 2024. See you there! Frank de Vreeze (The course will proceed when a minimum of 7 students have registered. Should this number not be reached, we will refund the course fee.)
