Service Description

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to practice what they have learned. Especially if you have gone through earlier parts of the year program then this is the time when you can practice a lot and integrate the knowledge. Every class there will be a model present and we will spend the whole lesson on mimicking this person. You are free to choose your own technique. If you want to practice with tonal values, you can take charcoal as a basic material. If you prefer to work with proportions, you can choose for example pencil. We conclude the program with six lessons in which we work exclusively from life/ the human figure. This allows us to practice with the knowledge we have acquired during the portrait course. After this first year, you will find that your drawing skills have improved significantly, and you will have developed techniques that allow you to draw other subjects as well. New students are also welcome to participate and become familiar with the classical way of working.
